Position Summary
Pristine Health is seeking dependable and compassionate Medication Technicians to support residents with medication services, personal care, safety monitoring, and activities of daily living. The MedTech must follow medication administration records, facility policies, assigned care plans, and all applicable delegation and credentialing requirements.
Responsibilities
Assist with or administer medications as legally authorized. Follow medication administration records and physician orders. Document medication services accurately and promptly. Report medication errors, refusals, adverse reactions, and changes in condition. Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals. Monitor resident safety and provide companionship and emotional support. Complete shift notes, incident reports, and required documentation. Follow infection-control, confidentiality, and emergency procedures. Communicate professionally with residents, families, nurses, and facility staff.
Qualifications
Current HCA, CNA, NAR, or other qualifying credential, when required. Medication Technician training or nurse delegation credentials, as applicable. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Current tuberculosis screening or risk assessment. Ability to pass required background checks and credential verification. Previous assisted living, memory care, adult family home, or long-term care experience preferred. Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and smartphone access. Current resume showing education, work experience, certifications, skills, and professional references.
Pay and Benefits
$24.00–$28.00 per hour based on experience, credentials, shift, and assignment. Shift differentials or assignment incentives may be available. Paid sick leave, overtime, workers’ compensation, and other benefits for eligible W-2 employees. Flexible scheduling and access to ongoing or per diem assignments.
